War has never been and never will be a solution.
On the fourth anniversary of the Iraq War, courageous people in cities across the world have come together to form living peace symbols.
On March 16 in New York City, USA, during sub-0°C temperatures, rain, wind, hail — the worst weather in more than one year — 200 dedicated people created a living peace sign in the center of the city. The turnout was FANTASTIC! We in the United States are grateful to be in solidarity with all the other peace symbols and inspired events around the world.
Here's a video created by Jhon Rojas. If you didn't know how cold it was just watch this.

The NYC Living Peace Symbol on March 16 was one of around 75 similar peace symbols organized for the anniversary of the Iraq War. Photos from many of these are available on the Europe for Peace site.
